« Ringer » parle du fait que les situations oppressives dans l’intimité nous suivent largement après qu’elles soient passées. Elles nous collent à la peau, partout, dehors, elles se rappellent à nous, dans un bus par exemple, avec les mots doucereusement oppressifs d’un inconnu envers ses propres proches ; l'inconnu se fait sosie de la personne qui nous hante et nous fait sentir qu’on est toujours bien hanté.
